Comsol Multiphysics 4.0a need port key _ BYU ChemE - IT Support

You can either use the CD in the silver box to install it, or install elby clone drive and use the iso file in the Vault to install comsol. Make sure you use the "4.0a" and not "4.0".

After installation
If Landesk is used to distribute a master image, the comsol installation may no longer work on the newly imaged computers.

To fix this:
Two shortcuts for comsol will be on the desktop, right click the one that has "Classkit license" in the name.
Go to properties and below is how the "Shortcut" tab should look like:
- TARGET FOR SHORTCUT (CLASSKIT LICENSE)C:\COMSOL40a\bin\win64\comsol.exe --launcher.ini "C:\COMSOL40a\bin\win64\comsolclasskit.ini" -data%USERPROFILE%\comsol\v40a\workspace\comsol\.metadata
- START IN:c:\COMSOL40a
