Join/Leave CAEDM Domain

To join the CAEDM domain:

1. Right-click on the "Start" button (or Windows logo) at the bottom left corner of your screen to open the menu.
2. Click on "System".
3. In the left pane, click on "About".
4. In the right pane, look for "Domain or workgroup" and click on "Change" button.
5. The "Computer Name/Domain Changes" window should be open now.
6. Now, enter "et.byu.edu" into the "Domain" field.
7. Click "Ok".
8. You will be asked to enter your CAEDM username and password. These should be the credentials provided by your network administrator.
9. Click "Next" and follow the rest of the prompts to complete the process. Your PC may need to restart for the changes to take effect.

To Leave Domain:

1. Right-click on the "Start" button (or Windows logo) at the bottom left corner of your screen to open the menu.
2. Click on "System".
3. In the left pane, click on "About".
4. In the right pane, look for "Domain or workgroup" and click on "Change" button.
5. The "Computer Name/Domain Changes" window should be open now.
6. Now, enter "WORKGROUP" into the "Workgroup" field.
7. Click "Ok".
8. You will be asked to enter your CAEDM username and password. These should be the credentials provided by your network administrator.
9. Click "Next" and follow the rest of the prompts to complete the process. Your PC may need to restart for the changes to take effect.
